Al Namaa for GRC Building Systems

We offer the best options in modern building systems

We are well aware of the exceptional importance that GRC, GRP, and GRG systems bring to the future of architecture and construction in Iraq. Therefore, we dedicate our efforts to bringing the most effective technologies in the world of construction and modern architectural systems, to turn the imaginations of our designers and the aspirations of our engineers into tangible reality. We provide the latest materials in the world with long-standing expertise in construction, and a unique bouquet of GRC system solutions, where beauty meets quality and precision in execution.

Discover your optimal choice in construction projects:

Guaranteed durability, lightweight, and comprehensive applications.

GRC material, also known as Glass Reinforced Concrete, is the best option globally in the architecture and construction sector due to a set of factors that create an exceptional balance in the various elements usually sought by contracting companies, project owners, governments, and other stakeholders involved in the construction process and implementation of major projects.

In short, GRC material consists of a mixture of cement, silica sand, polymer, and other chemicals, and the mixture is reinforced with an alkaline glass fiber mesh, then mechanically fixed, acquiring resistance properties that surpass most other building materials.

In addition to the architectural GRC solutions we offer, we also provide:

GRG or Glass Reinforced Gypsum which is used for interior decorations and false ceilings due to its lightweight and hardness.

GRP or Glass Reinforced Polyester which is a soft, flexible, and lightweight material that can be easily shaped for complex designs and water insulation, in addition to its strength and stability level.

Diverse uses and comprehensive architectural solutions

Engineers use GRC material in various construction sectors as it is the optimal choice for implementing complex designs, renovation and revitalization due to its lightweight, construction of facilities, and decorations as well.

We have extensive experience in providing GRC solutions in construction projects of various sizes and designs.

Frequently Asked Questions about GRC

What is GRC and what are its uses?

GRC can be defined as a cementitious building material made up of a mixture of other building materials, which distinguishes it from others due to its excellent finish, high control in applications, high safety specifications, and lower costs compared to other materials. Due to these features, architects use it in various sectors of construction and building.

What is the overall cost of using GRC?

It is important to mention that using GRC provides a high level of durability and toughness, as well as other useful features such as thermal, sound, and electrical insulation. It also requires less maintenance than other concrete types. Therefore, its overall cost is lower than the cost of other concrete solutions. The minimum cost per square meter (in architectural terms) is $125 and the price increases with the complexity of the project and its designs.

What is the expected lifespan of GRC in architectural projects?

The lifespan of GRC is not less than four times that of traditional concrete, and it adapts to long extensions and bends while providing extreme hardness, resisting breakage by at least three times more than traditional concrete, and it is non-flammable and considered a bad breeding ground for microorganisms, bacteria, and insects.
